Virtual production for elevated e-commerce. A campaign playbook showing how six photographer-owned Sicilian plates were used to create a full elevated summer asset story.
This playbook is built around the existing Elevated e-commerce category: full-body first, then crops, details, product and lifestyle assets. The workflow is designed to support campaign, category, email, social and editorial outputs.

Segmented by the six source plates/environments. Each plate shows how one background can support model, product, crop and campaign outputs without presenting the work as high-volume PDP.
Opening environment. Model and product together. This is the clearest first chapter because it immediately speaks to elevated summer retail: swimwear, resortwear, soft goods and styled product.

One Sicilian horizon plate supports model, textile and product assets. This is the A → B shift: from one location-based idea to a reusable elevated content environment.
This plate is about atmosphere, not prop styling. Hazer, blanket, hard/soft facial light and close crops show how VP can hold up when the camera drills down from full body to beauty detail.

The process chapter. The cloud plate was adjusted live on the day: tone, contrast, scale and position. This is where Marco’s BTS matters because it shows real-time art direction, not post-rationalised retouching.

Strongest realism chapter. The same broader beach language moves from elevated swimwear into reclined editorial crops, with foreground and background needing to feel continuous.

Separate from the other horizon plates: more graphic, crisp, solid blue and simple. Use this as a scale and multi-model chapter rather than folding it into the red swim story.

Simple graphic plate, clean colour block, crisp summer feeling. Useful for elevated brand storytelling where the background must support, not dominate.
Keep as a test chapter for now. Judge after edit. The strategic use is showing pattern and garment colour against a busier location plate, even if the current raw version is weaker.

The case should not over-promise retouching. It should show that most of the work is achieved in camera, with final post used for normal elevated e-commerce finishing and VP-specific concealment.
No beauty manipulation beyond standard e-commerce practice. Retouch supports the VP workflow: screen edge concealment, floor extension, horizon cleanup and crop delivery.
The 5Cs stay as the core methodology, but appear after the campaign story so the reader first understands the output, then the transformation.
Six Sicilian plates become a flexible elevated summer campaign language.
Location value without location logistics: fewer moves, more controlled output.
Archive plate reuse reduces physical production demand; digital impact remains measurable.
Photographer-owned Canon plates with clear provenance and usage trail.
Photographer, digi, retoucher and creative lead work live around the image.
This Campaign Playbook can be adapted for Aspiga-style resortwear and for retailers needing seasonal elevated assets across fashion, accessories, home, gifts, email, social and campaign.
